Synergistic Inactivation of African Swine Fever Virus by a Highly Complexed Iodine Combined with Compound Organic Acids
This study evaluated the synergistic inactivation effects of HPCI combined with compound organic acids (COAs) against ASFV. The results showed that the inactivation rates of HPCI, COAs, and HPCI+COAs on the reporter ASFV expressing the green fluorescent protein increased in dose- and time-dependent manners. The best inactivation effects were obtained when the compatibility ratio of HPCI and COAs was 5:1, and the ideal temperature was 25°C. Furthermore, there were no significant differences when comparing the efficacy of HPCI combined with COAs (HPCI+COAs) in inactivating wild-type ASFV and the reporter ASFV (P > 0.05)....

Tracing the variation of dissolved organic matter in the two-stage anoxic/aerobic process treating swine wastewater using fluorescence excitation-emission matrix with parallel factor analysis
In this study, swine wastewater was treated by a step-feed two-stage anoxic/aerobic (SF-A/O/A/O) process. By using parallel factor (PARAFAC) analysis of fluorescence excitation-emission matrix (EEM), the main components of swine wastewater were aromatic protein-like substances (C1), tryptophan-like substances (C2), fulvic acid-like/humic-like substances (C3) and humic-like substances (C4). Protein-like substances were degraded significantly, while humic-like substances were difficult to be utilized by microorganisms. Using vermiwash to enhance performance of small-scale vermifiltration for swine farm wastewater
In conclusion, vermiwas h could enhance performance of vermifiltration for swine farm wastewater treatment. The available fraction of copper in vermicompost produced from vermifiltration decreased. Therefore, the farmer could produce vermicompost as the biofertilizer for agricultural production. Using vermifiltration for w astewater treatment in small swine farm could be the eco-solution for nutrient recovery, water resource recycles and minimize pollution.

Fermentation of lignocellulose ingredients in vivo and in vitro via using fecal and caecal inoculums of monogastric animals (swine/turkeys)
In conclusions, lignocellulose A can be used as alternative source of fiber to maintain the health and function of digestive tract. Furthermore, the use of feces/excreta liquor provides a valid and proper estimate of digestibility or fermentation of feeds. These results provide further guide that this procedure would be an effective and practical means of approximating the digestibility of diets.

Effect of acclimatized paddy soil microorganisms using swine wastewater on degradation of rice straw
This study investigated the effect of acclimatized paddy soil microorganisms using swine wastewater on degradation of RS before anaerobic digestion. The total organic carbon, reducing sugar and NH4+-N content of paddy soil + RS + swine wastewater (PRS) (653.50 mg/L) was higher than that of other groups after 19 days. The carboxymethyl cellulose activity (4.01 IU), cellulose/lignin ratio (5.25) and the degradation rate of lignin (51.96%) in PRS were higher than those of other groups. Influence of different inoculation densities of black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) on heavy metal immobilization in swine manure
In this study, BSFL with inoculation densities of 0.08%, 0.24% and 0.40% was added to swine manure to investigate its influence on heavy metal bioaccumulation and bioavailability. The physicochemical properties, BSFL growth performance and amino acid contents were measured.
